\"AA Eurocidade Cerveira-Tomi\u00f1o d\u00e1 as boas-vindas ao seu novo Provedor Transfronteiri\u00e7o, Andr\u00e9s Sastre Portela<\/strong>, que representar\u00e1 Tomi\u00f1o neste cargo e se juntar\u00e1 ao trabalho realizado pela representante de Cerveira, Maria Manuela Ferreira<\/strong>, para continuar a promover a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o em todos os \u00e2mbitos de governa\u00e7\u00e3o e procurar solu\u00e7\u00f5es para os desafios da popula\u00e7\u00e3o transfronteiri\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Licenciado em Direito e com um mestrado em Economia, Sastre Portela<\/strong> enfrentar\u00e1 um dos maiores desafios para a cidadania da Eurocidade: a melhoria das redes de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o na \u00e1rea transfronteiri\u00e7a<\/strong>, especialmente em zonas cr\u00edticas onde a falta de cobertura provoca s\u00e9rios problemas de isolamento para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

A sua experi\u00eancia como consultor s\u00e9nior em economia digital e na regula\u00e7\u00e3o do mercado das telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 essencial para enfrentar este desafio, que h\u00e1 anos tem causado dificuldades aos habitantes de Tomi\u00f1o. Com o foco na converg\u00eancia tecnol\u00f3gica<\/strong>, o novo Provedor Transfronteiri\u00e7o trabalhar\u00e1 para resolver os problemas de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o em Tomi\u00f1o, onde existem 24 zonas com quase 7.000 residentes registados<\/strong> em que o servi\u00e7o \u00e9 deficit\u00e1rio. Estes problemas s\u00e3o particularmente graves na zona mais pr\u00f3xima do rio, onde em alguns pontos h\u00e1 total aus\u00eancia de cobertura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Presidente da C\u00e2mara Municipal de Tomi\u00f1o, Sandra Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, e o Presidente da C\u00e2mara Municipal de Vila Nova de Cerveira, Rui Teixeira<\/strong>, destacaram a import\u00e2ncia de contar com um perfil especializado como o de Andr\u00e9s Sastre<\/strong>, sublinhando que “\u00e9 crucial garantir que todos os nossos cidad\u00e3os tenham acesso a um servi\u00e7o de telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es adequado, especialmente numa sociedade cada vez mais digitalizada”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Provedoria da Cidadania Transfronteiri\u00e7a da Eurocidade Cerveira-Tomi\u00f1o<\/strong> \u00e9 uma figura pioneira de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre a Galiza e o Norte de Portugal, criada em julho de 2017, que atua com autonomia e imparcialidade<\/strong> em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos \u00f3rg\u00e3os municipais e sem qualquer tipo de remunera\u00e7\u00e3o. As suas fun\u00e7\u00f5es incluem receber queixas, reclama\u00e7\u00f5es e sugest\u00f5es<\/strong> relativas \u00e0s rela\u00e7\u00f5es transfronteiri\u00e7as entre os dois munic\u00edpios e emitir relat\u00f3rios, recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es e propostas dentro das suas compet\u00eancias.<\/p>\n
